The DNA

The Labyrinth Series exists at the intersection of architecture, dream states, and human perception.

Reality is rarely linear. Spaces fold inward. Decisions echo through time. Stairways rise toward uncertain destinations. Through architectural surrealism, the Labyrinth Series explores the thresholds that exist between certainty and ambiguity, memory and possibility, structure and transformation.

Core Concepts

  • Architectural Surrealism
  • Dream Architecture
  • Non-Euclidean Geometry
  • Dimensional Distortion
  • Mythic Symbolism
  • Threshold Logic

Why the Labyrinth?

The labyrinth is not a problem to solve.

It is a reflection of experience itself.

Each painting becomes a psychological landscape where perception bends, destinations dissolve, and meaning emerges through exploration rather than certainty.

Artist DNA

My work investigates the relationship between physical space and internal space.

By disrupting conventional perspective and architectural logic, I create environments that invite contemplation, curiosity, and self-reflection. These works are not depictions of places. They are invitations to navigate possibilities.

The Future

The Labyrinth Series will continue through painting, sculpture, installation, and kinetic forms, expanding the concept of dimensional storytelling into immersive experiences.

Behind JT Originals

JT Thompson’s practice explores the intersection of geometric surrealism, architecture, and human perception. Through highly distorted spatial environments, Thompson transforms familiar structures into dreamlike labyrinths that challenge conventional perspective and invite reflection.

His work blends architectural elements, abstract forms, and surreal landscapes to create visually complex compositions that investigate the subjective nature of experience. Drawing inspiration from the subconscious mind, his paintings explore the tension between logic and intuition, certainty and ambiguity, creating immersive worlds where perception itself becomes the subject.
